A fabulous cottage in a fabulous location. Have holidayed in this area for many years and having a "home from home" in this location was fantastic. Plenty of room for all the family and the heated floor in downstairs toilet/shower room is a nice feature. Although some of the decor could be spruced up a bit there is nothing that affects enjoyment of staying here. Mr D, RENFREW, Renfrewshire 29 October 2010
Although the location at first glance appears to be in a rather busy location (next to the Mull ferry terminal) the house is in fact extremely quiet and peaceful and does feel secluded, but with the local amenities (village shop, post office, restaurant, snack bar) very handy. Dr N, Stirling, Stirlingshire 04 July 2010
Shore cottage is in a superb location, perfect for a relaxing break. Really peaceful. The ferry terminal is just a couple of hundred yards away, but made the location even more interesting, and certainly didn't intrude. It makes you feel part of the local activity, and is so handy for nipping over to Mull. The village is small, but with the store and hotel has everything you need. After all, you don't go to this part of the world for the shopping and nightlife !! The house is traditional and comfortable and does everything it needs. We didn't want to leave.

An excellent holiday choice! The cottage position was stunning, with magnificent views over Loch Aline, the Sound of Mull and the ruined Adtornish Castle. The cottage had everything you could possibly want, and the new downstairs shower room was a welcome addition even though not mentioned in the brochure. The closeness of the Mull Ferry was not intrusive and really handy for catching the ferry to Mull. It was really relaxing just sitting in the garden or in the conservatory, watching the wildlife, the sailing boats and the ferry pass at the bottom of the garden. Definitely a cottage to go to again! A great, well presented, secluded cottage, right on the loch shore. Unintrusive local activity includes the Mull ferry, village shop and award winning restaurant (booking essential). Mr G, Ingatestone, Essex 30 August 2008
